Rules and Regulations: |

1. |
- The
Double Your Pleasure Futurity is open to all breeds
affiliated with the NSBA.
- All
classes are one Go-round with two judges.
-
NSBA rules & regulations will be followed : however, novice
exhibitors must hold a valid novice membership card from
their breed association. Novice classes will be
governed by AQHA rules.
- NSBA
membership is required for all owners & exhibitors entered
in NSBA classes, unless they purchase a NSBA day pass. NSBA
points & earnings are not recorded on the permanent record
of horses shown on a day pass.
- A
copy of the horse’s registration papers & the owner’s &
exhibitor’s Breed Association & NSBA membership cards must
accompany the entry form.
- Payment
must accompany the entry form. NSF cheques will be subject
to a $25. charge. Any applicable late fees will also
apply. There are no refunds or substitutions
- NSBA
payback percentages will be used for all classes except the
slot classes. The purse will equal 70% of the entry fees
plus 100% of the added money. Payment will be based on the
combined score of both judges. Ties will be broken by the
tie breaker judge for trophies only.
- Horses
entered in class 19 NSBA Open 2 Yr Old Snaffle Bit Western
Pleasure are not eligible for class #10 the DYPF 2 Yr Old
Slot class.
- Classes
1 & 2 will run concurrently.
- The
administration fee covers office charges, judges fee & drug
testing.
- Normal
arrival is after 9AM on Friday. There is a $25. per stall
fee for early arrival.

Every entry shall constitute an agreement that all participants
(which include without limitation, the owner, the exhibitor, the
trainer, the coach and the horse) (1) shall be subject to &
bound by the rules & regulations of the DYPF & the NSBA, (2)
represent that every participant is eligible as entered, (3)
agree that they participate voluntarily in the horse show, fully
aware that equestrian sport & competition involve inherent
dangerous risk of serious injury or death & accept that no
protective equipment can protect against all foreseeable injury
& by participation they expressly assume any and all risks of
injury or loss & they agree to indemnify & hold the Double Your
Pleasure Futurity, the Royal Canadian Riding Academy & B.G.
Schickedanz (York) Inc. & their officials, directors, employees,
& agents harmless from all claims including for any injury or
loss resulting directly or indirectly from the negligent acts or
omissions of officials, directors, employees or agents

Canadian Classic Rules
- Horse must have
be foaled in Canada. (as confirmed on registration papers)
- Current owner
must be Canadian. (as confirmed on registration papers)
- Exhibitor must
be a Canadian residing in Canada.
- Open & Non Pro
will ride together.
- A trophy saddle
will be presented to the class winner.
- A trophy saddle
will be presented to the highest placing Non Pro.
- In case of a
tie, a tie breaker judge will determine the winner of the
trophy saddle.
