The Double
Your Pleasure Futurity Executive is proud to announce our new location!
The Royal Canadian Riding Academy (RCRA) is located on Davis Drive just
outside of Newmarket, Ontario. RCRA boasts
multiple indoor arenas, spacious outdoor sand rings and permanent
stabling for a large number of horses. The main arena features seating
for approximately 2,000 people in permanent stands, and the indoor
viewing lounge allows spectators to watch the action in comfort from
above. The indoor viewing lounge not only provides a spectacular view of
the main indoor arena, and a spacious outdoor patio overlooking the
beautiful grounds, but it also houses the Equus Café which offers
delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are so pleased to be able to
offer our Exhibitors, Sponsors, and Spectators the use of such a
fabulous facility. Please visit our website for more information, and
directions.

The 2005 Double Your Pleasure Futurity was an outstanding success.
Thanks to all of our generous sponsors & participants we were once again
able to top the previous years payouts, with 2005 payouts and awards
exceeding $60,000 for the 18 class lineup!!! The launch of the 2 year
old Western Pleasure slot class was a great success with all of the
twenty slots selling out at the 2004 futurity. 17 of the 20 horses
entered showed, with the winner taking home close to $7000! With the
overwhelming success of the first slot class offered by DYPF, we will
not only be offering the 2 YO WP slot class again, but will be
introducing a Yearling Longe Line slot class. The 20 slots for the 2 YO
WP class sold out at the 2005 show, see our website for a listing of the
slot owners for 2006. Out of the 15 yearling longe line slots available
there are only 3 left. Don’t miss your opportunity in purchasing one of
the remaining slots. Please contact Janna Imrie for more information,
416-697-3656.
The 2006 Double Your Pleasure Executive are
currently planning out the schedule of classes as well as lots of fun
events to take place at the show. Keep checking our website for new
information,

To maintain the prestige of the Double Your Pleasure Futurity we will
continue to rely on the generous support of our many sponsors. If
you’re interested in supporting this fabulous event please contact
Michele Reynolds at 416-234-8990. You can also help by supporting our
sponsors, such as Perfect Images (see Sponsor Spotlight below) who
continues to sponsor our futurity in 2006.
We will once again be offering a trainer sale as this has been a very
successful fundraiser in the past as well as gives people the
opportunity to try trainers at the bargain price of only $400 for a
month of training and board. Check out our website for a complete list
of trainers available for 2006. We thank Jon Newnham for being our
first trainer to offer his services for the 2006 trainer sale and is
